The City of Kadoma was established in Zimbabwe in terms of the Urban Councils Act (Chapter 29:15).
According to the 2012 population census Kadoma had a population of 92 469 and it is estimated that to date is over 100,000.
The city is headed by an elected mayor with ceremonial powers and an appointed executive. The City has got 17 wards and each ward is represented by a Councillor.
