Belvedere was founded in 1996 by over 30 Obstetricians, Pediatricians & Gynaecologists with the aim of being the best mother and baby hospital. In 2015 alone the hospital welcomed over 1 943 babies with 727 being Ceasarian babies. The hospital have 2 back-up generators as well a borehole to make sure there is 24hours supply of water and electricity as well as 65 supporting staff.
