Zimbabwe Confederation of Midwives (ZICOM)

Zimbabwe Confederation of Midwives (ZICOM) is a professional association for midwives. It consists of midwives from Public, Private Institutions and City Health Departments. It is the only legally registered midwives association in Zimbabwe, registered as a Trust and has a Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee.

ZICOM envisions a future where high profile and competent midwives are offering quality evidenced based midwifery care, effectively contributing to the reduction of maternal, neonatal and child morbidity and mortality, and collaborating as an equal partner with other Health Care Professionals and Stakeholders.
