Emergency Medical Rescue Ambulance Service (EMRAS) is the ambulance service of PSMI and boasts 9 bases across the country, all operational 24 hours a day, providing countrywide response to medical emergencies. EMRAS is strategically positioned in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, Masvingo, Mutare, Chiredzi, Bindura, Victoria Falls and Kwekwe. EMRAS is one of PSMI’s strategic business units, specialising in the provision of pre hospital care, as a diversified healthcare service provider, PSMI, seeks to offer all healthcare services under one roof. EMRAS accepts all medical aid societies cards. EMRAS is there to provide emergency treatment and specialised transport to patients suffering from acute illness or injury. Treatment and transport are provided by qualified registered pre-hospital care practitioners. EMRAS has been operating for 14 years and has amassed vast experience in the field of pre-hospital care over the years.
