Workshop Foreman Full Time


Maintaining and Repairing Vehicles / Units in Accordance with Company Procedures and Programs

Assists in Planning, Organizing and Controlling Timeouts and Quality Completion of Unit Servicing and Repairs and Ad-Hoc Programs.

Analyzing and Interpreting Documents to Maintain Minimum Costs with Consistent Quality
Providing Guidance to Subordinates Including Trainees and Apprentices Attached to Workshops
Identifying Training Needs and Recommending Staff for Formal Training and Development
Managing Artisan Utilization
Processing Claims from Workshops Timeously
Generating Routine and Ad-Hoc Reports

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 5 years
Education Level: Apprenticeship
Qualifications: Diploma or National Certificate in Motor Mechanics/ Automotive Engineering
Software: MS Office
Equipment: PC / Workshop Machinery
Knowledge Of: All aspects of a large Workshop
Skills To: Implement Quality Control and Safety Standards and Train Relevant Personnel
Ability To: Supervise and Manage Professionals at several different Organisational Levels
Personality: Technical / Leader / Strong Character
